I know that life is made up of patterns and in those patterns you can find some consistency. The sun rises and sets, almost the same time, the same way, every day. Seasons change, seeds are planted, plants bloom and grow. Despite these patterns life is also so unpredictable, but I think the unexpected stuff that happens outside of the patterns is what helps us to appreciate the mystery of God's creation and love.

But this time around, and this pregnancy has been so different. I am nauseous, I have headaches, and I am oh so tired. I also have the oddest cravings for the most random foods at the most random times. Pickles, hard boiled egg salad sandwiches, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, sweet potato fries.
